Terms of Service

Welcome to Pair Sketch. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pair Sketch website, products, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description; No Advice

Pair Sketch uses AI to generate an artistic pencil sketch of a dream partner based on information you provide (e.g., birth date, time, and location). Outputs may vary and may not meet expectations. The Service is for entertainment purposes only and does not provide advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your account or circumvent access controls. We use Clerk as our authentication provider; your use of Clerk is subject to their terms and privacy policy.

User Inputs and Generated Content

• You represent that you have the right to provide all inputs you submit and that they do not violate any third‑party rights or laws.
• To generate outputs, we transmit your inputs to our AI gateway and model providers (via OpenRouter) for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• Subject to your compliance with these Terms and your plan limits, we grant you a non‑exclusive, worldwide license to use, download, and display outputs for personal use. If your plan includes commercial rights, those rights are granted as described on the pricing page or plan details.
• Do not use outputs to impersonate real individuals, infringe rights, or otherwise violate law or these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or hateful.
• Infringe privacy or intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse APIs except as permitted.

Safety Filters & Prohibited Content

The AI models and safety systems we use will refuse to generate images that involve or depict prohibited categories. Requests of this nature may be blocked automatically, and related outputs (if any) may be removed. Prohibited categories include, without limitation:

• Infringement and impersonation: copyrighted works, logos, trademarks, or the likeness of celebrities or private individuals without authorization.
• Illegal or harmful activity: instructions for wrongdoing, violence, or other content that promotes or facilitates unlawful acts.
• NSFW/sexual content: explicit sexual content, nudity, sexual services, or exploitative content; any sexual content involving minors or young‑appearing persons is strictly prohibited.
• Hate, harassment, and abuse: demeaning or violent content targeting protected classes or individuals.
• Graphic violence or gore, self‑harm, or content encouraging suicide or serious injury.
• Sensitive personal data or invasions of privacy, including attempts to identify private individuals without consent.

We may limit or disable accounts that repeatedly attempt to bypass these safeguards. When in doubt, the system may err on the side of safety and refuse borderline or ambiguous prompts.

Payments, Subscriptions, and Taxes

• When enabled, payments are processed by Creem. You authorize charges to the payment method you provide. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• If you purchase a subscription, it renews automatically until canceled. Cancel in advance of renewal to avoid future charges.
• Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Refunds

One‑time payments are not refundable. Plus and Pro subscriptions are eligible for an unconditional 15‑day refund from the initial purchase date. See our Refund Policy for details. Where required by law, we will honor statutory rights.

Intellectual Property

• We and our licensors retain all rights in the Service and software.
• You retain rights in your inputs. For the purpose of providing the Service, you grant us and our service providers a limited license to process inputs and generate outputs.
• Generated outputs: subject to plan terms. You are responsible for ensuring your use of outputs complies with law and third‑party rights.

Third‑Party Services

We may rely on third parties for authentication (Clerk), AI processing (OpenRouter and model providers), payments, hosting, and analytics. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms.

Limitation of Liability

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Pair Sketch harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your inputs, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we believe it is necessary to protect the Service or users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., via the site or email). Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law; Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence unless a different governing law is required by mandatory local law. Any disputes will be handled in courts having jurisdiction over your residence, unless otherwise required by law.
